Griet Verhaert is a Belgian artist with a background in architecture, working in drawing and installation art. A daydreamer at heart, she moves between nature and urban places in search of people, movements, abstract images and fleeting moments that echo her childhood.

Her work centers on line, movement and wandering-recurring themes that shaped her artistic language throughout her life. Through observation and inuitive exploration, she captures subtle impressions, explores emotions and transient visual memories.

She feels most free in nature and in spacious, light-filled architectural environments —always in motion— searching for compositions, contrasts, or coincidental interactions.
